Merlion statue: The proudness of Singapore

    Merlion statue was located in Singapore, southeast Asia. Merlion was the proud of Singapore, symbol of the succession  of Singapore development. Merlion is a statue which stand gently on the sea. Name of Merlion is taken from its shape that mixing of mermaid and lion. Mermaid is a body part and tale of the statue, and lion is the head of the statue.

According to the History of Malay, the name given by the Singapore Nila Utama, Malay prince from Palembang in early 14th century. When Sang Nila Utama sailing on the sea, there are storms and high winds which resulted in his boat stranded on an island. While on the island, Sang Nila Utama saw an animal resembling a lion. Therefore, the island called Singapore (meaning "lion city").
Designed by Mr. Merlion. Fraser Brunner, a member of the souvenir committee and a curator of the Van Kleef Aquarium, the lion head represents the lion is seen by Prince Sang Nila Utama as listed in the "History of Malay." The fish tail of the Merlion symbolizes the ancient city of Temasek (meaning "sea" in Javanese).
Measuring 8.6 meters high and weighing 70 tonnes, the Merlion statue was built from a mixture of cement by the late Singapore craftsman, Mr. Lim Nang Seng.
His house was the first Merlion and the Cub ", was originally located in front of the Singapore River, just across the Elizabeth Walk, just 120 meters from its current location. The area is also called the Merlion Park soon became a popular tourist attraction, and become one of the famous places in the big cities of the world.
Merlion Merlion statue location new house is located adjacent to One Fullerton, a park covering an area of 2,500 square meters of newly constructed. At One Fullerton, there are various restaurants, lounges, and dance clubs on the river bank.
Merlion Cub is located 28 meters behind the Merlion. Also installed a pump system for the Merlion and the Merlion child, so it can give off water throughout the day and night.

Arc de Triomphe Gate

Paris - The city of Paris, France is the city with monuments of the most widely known.In addition to the Eiffel Tower or the Louvre Pyramid, Paris, people would remember if you saw the Arc de Triomphe monument.

Arc de Triomphe monument in the form of a big gate facing the street Champs Elysees. Both seemed to be a couple sights that must be visited by tourists. If you visit the Arc de Triomphe, all also enjoy the atmosphere of the streets of the Champs Elysees.

Arc de Triomphe can be interpreted as the 'Gate of Victory'. Is the French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte in 1806, ordered the construction of a monument to celebrate the French victory in the war in Europe.

An underground tunnel built from the Champs Elysees translucent roadside beside the monument. Morning is the right ambience for visiting the Arc de Triomphe before around Paris.

If you see the Arc de Triomphe up close, the walls are adorned with the names of the generals of Napoleon's troops. This monument was adorned with many beautiful ornaments. Arc de Triomphe standing with size 45 x 22 meters and 49.5 meters high.

However, the Arc de Triomphe is not only a monument to past wars. The monument is both a war memorial to French soldiers who died in World War II, Indochina War and the Korean War. An eternal flame lit right under the arch of the Arc de Triomphe to commemorate the heroes without names.

Tourists can also climb the 284 stairs to the top of the monument to see the sights around the Champs Elysees. But they must spend 9 euros, or about Rp 135 thousand. 

Asia - Africa Confrence Museum

Konfrensi Asia – Afrika (Asia – Afrika confrence) museum was located in Asia – Afrika street in Bandung, West Java. It was build in 1980 to celebrate 25^th years Asia – Afrika confrence and oficially opened by Mr. Soeharto, the 2^nd Indonesia president, on April, 24^th 1980.

Asia – Africa confrence was held in Bandung on18^th – 24^th  April 1955. The background of this confrence because on the time there is a same of fate among Asia and Africa Nations and resulted some decisions for Asia and Africa Nations, for example the Nations that attendanced in Asia – Afrika confrence decided to didn’t follow the block, both west block and east block, or in Indonesia known as gerakan non-blok.

There are so many interesting matters inside the museum, for example there are so many collection flags of Asia and Africa Nations. More than 200 flags stand in the front of confrence room. There are also original chairs that used in Asia – Africa first confrence in 1955.

In April 2005 held the second confrence in the same place to celebrate 50^th Asia – Africa confrece.

Kuta Beach: The Proud of Bali

Kuta beach was located in Bali, Indonesia. It is the one of most favorite tourism place in the world. So many tourisms from Europe, America, or Asia come to visit and around Bali, especially Kuta in everyday. And so many domestic tourisms dream to visit Kuta.

There are some reasons why Kuta become one of most favorite place to visit. Beside all beaches in Bali have an exotic panorama, the Balinese are kind people that can share a smile to anyone, both Indonesian and visitors, so that they fell comfort with this atmosphere. Bali also has still kept their traditional cultures that interest for tourism both domestics and strangers. Bali also has some mystical believe that related to religion. Why it happened? Because, majority of Balinese choose Hindu as their believed that was influenced by Javanese Majapahit kingdom.

There are also some interesting games, so that offered by Kuta beach such as; diving into deep of sea, flying use a wing that moved by wind, or bun jumping that challenge your brave. The other interesting matter in Kuta is anything in a merchandise shop has a low price for domestic tourist, but it is expensive for strangers.

Among all the interesting cultural in Kuta there is the most interesting culture. It is a Kecak dance. If you want to see kecak dance, you must walk through wild monkeys before, and if you wear a short pant, your pants must be covered by a skirt that provided there, and then you are allowed to see the dance. There is also most interesting believe in Kuta. There is a cave that similar a dragon snake. The cave only can visits in the morning until afternoon. Domestic folk believe that in evening the dragon come to visits its home and the cave is covered by sea water on every evening.

From the tittle, maybe you know and can predict what I will mention later. Yes, of course the tittle is close related to our daily live. It is about how we can accept well in society, because we are society creature who need other  people in every our activities. If we do not have good skill in adapting our self in environment, of course we only be a trash in society.

“Doing something before someone do that to you” is general statement that applied in all live aspects. For example, in love. Of course, we have to loving someone before someone loving us. Do not ever expect you will be loved by someone before you loving other one as you loving your own self. It is the most important point toget perfect in life. Never ask price of love, because you will never afford to buy happiness that gived by love. But, if you never give your love to someone or something, do not ever imagine all hurts that caused by love, because you will never can to defeat the hurts.

So, the main point is you will get ready receive love by other human when you had give your love to him / her.

Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) was one of the most poppular tourist place in Indonesia, both local and internasional tourist, like to visit TMII in their journey.

Taman Mini Indonesia Indah was located in Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia. Beauty that was offered by TMII is the miniatur of most culture in Indonesiathat come from many tribes, provinces, or other area of Indonesia, like house of spesific tribes, clothes of spesific tribes, traditional weapon that comes from variety provinces in Indonesia, and all that related to introduce Indonesia to world.

First idea to build Taman Mini Indonesia Indah was said by Ibu Tien, she is the wife of the second Indonesia president that leading in 32 years, alm.Soeharto. Ibu Tien was passed away in 2000. The most interesting to visit TMII is cheap price to get entering ticket. The price is afford by all society fold in Indonesia. Therefore, TMII is the one of most favorite tourist place in Indonesia.
